Every Memorial day I find myself astonished all over again that despite a pretty high number of known relatives who served in various branches of the military during various wars (cousins, uncles, grandfathers and great-uncles, etc.), none of them died in combat or of injuries sustained in combat. Over for another year
Oh, how I despise the whole income tax everything, start to finish. Abolish the 16th amendment! Talk about a rhetorical device that seriously backfired....
But at least it's done this year, and I walked away with a return of $2, $0, and $0. Pretty dang good, I'd say. (Relatively speaking, that is.) -

I've been really enjoying this pair of channels--they do an excellent job at conveying what it was like to actually live in ~1820's frontier America, and the couple hosting the videos are adorable together. Also, the food sounds and looks delicious. :)
